Why Gethsemane?

Gethsemane2.jpgIn a world where “average” has become the acceptable norm, we believe our students are capable of so much more.  We teach our students to believe in excellence, to believe in a bright future, to believe in Jesus Christ and to believe in themselves.  We are proud of our loving and dedicated staff who remain focused on providing students with the tools they need to overcome all of life’s challenges.

Throughout our 50 year history, Gethsemane Lutheran School has sent students on to earn the highest of honors in both high school and college.  Some students went on to earn perfect ACT and SAT scores. We’ve produced high school valedictorians and salutatorians, and countless scholarships are handed out every year to GLS graduates.  This academic success is combined with a spiritual joy that radiates to every student and parent in our hallways.  It is our honor to serve the Lord through this school and we honestly believe your life will be forever touched by becoming part of our community.

Curriculum

Gethsemane offers a well-rounded curriculum of grammar, literature, math, phonics, physical education, reading, science, and social studies.  Additionally, Gethsemane students receive instruction in art, music, computer, and Spanish.   All written curriculum at Gethsemane is aligned with or exceeds the Colorado State Standards.

Technology

Gethsemane students use computers for research and creation of presentations for class assignments. We believe technology is an important part of education in today's world; therefore we make computers easily accessible to students in the computer lab and each classroom.
